Network Administrator
BillSoft, Inc., a national leader in taxation software, located in Overland Park, Kansas, seeks an individual on our Network Administration team.  Qualified candidates should have 3-5 years experience in Network Administration, with experience setting up, configuring, and supporting internal and/or external networks.  The Network Administration team also develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations, troubleshoots network performance issues, creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan, recommends upgrades, patches, new applications and equipment, and provides technical support and guidance to users.   Further, occasionally members of the Network Administration team provide customer/end-user support, and 24 hour on-call support.   Candidates must be well organized and be able to meet critical deadlines, be detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work with minimal supervision. Preference will be given to candidates with College degrees, and experience (in some if not all) specifically utilizing the following systems/processes:  MS Exchange, Barracuda Firewalls, Watchguard Firewalls, SQL Administration, DOS Batch files, UNIX/Linux administration, UNIX Scripting, Ghost, Citrix, Web design and maintenance, Web applications maintenance, DNS (external and internal), DHCP, 2000 to 2003 Active directory migration, Veritas Backup Exec, VPN tunneling, Cabling, Avaya Phone System, and Wildcat BBS.   BillSoft provides a competitive wage, company funded 401K program, annual and merit bonuses, health and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, flex-time, a comprehensive education assistance program, paid holidays, vacation and sick time. Software Developer
BillSoft, Inc., a national leader in taxation software, located in Overland Park, Kansas, seeks an individual on our Software Development team.  Qualified candidates should have 3-5 years experience in Software Development, and should be proficient in the following languages: Java, C#, windows based programming, C++, C, etc, and should have a good understanding of transitional RDBMS's (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).  Candidates must be well organized and be able to meet critical deadlines, be detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work with minimal supervision. Tax Compliance Analyst:

The position will be responsible for the preparation of sales, use, and telecommunications tax returns. Qualified candidates must be well organized and be able to meet critical deadlines, be detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work with minimal supervision. Experience with sales & use tax and the telecom industry a plus. Degreed in one or more of the following areas or a CPA certification preferred: Business or Accounting. Tax Research Analyst
BillSoft, Inc., a national leader in taxation software, located in Overland Park, Kansas seeks individual for a tax research analyst position within our State and Local Tax Group. The position will be responsible for researching telecom taxes, cable taxes, sales and use taxes and their application in various markets. Qualified candidate must be well organized and display advanced analytical abilities. The candidates should exhibit the ability to make decisions and possess good written and verbal communication skills. Qualified candidates must be organized and be able to work with minimal supervision. Advanced computer skills are essential. Experience with telecom taxation is a plus.
